Trip to Goa | Amazing Holiday Destinations in India
A Trip to Goa | Amazing Holiday Destinations in India: I have been to a lot of places, national and international but Goa is my all time favorite. The best thing about Goa is that you don’t need to do ground work to visit Goa because it is going to be happening whether you are going planned or unplanned.
I have been to Goa twice, December 2016 and May 2017, I would suggest December and January month is best to visit Goa. I will share my December visit here.
Flying to Goa from New Delhi:
We took our flight from New Delhi airport around 7 pm in the evening and we reached Goa at 10 pm in the night and then we took a cab to our hotel. We have already booked our hotel i.e. Resort Rio, it is a Five-star Luxury Deluxe Spa Resort in North Goa nestled on the banks of the Baga river in Arpora, we wanted to stay in luxury during this trip, otherwise, Goa is full of cheap but good hotels, you can opt anyone.
After reaching our hotel, we freshened up and went out, and had some snacks and light dinner in a restaurant named 24*7. People were enjoying karaoke there, even we felt good after loads of traveling and tiredness.

After that I got a nail art done by a local aunty present there.

We took many pictures in “Dil Chahta Hai” movie (A Bollywood film starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna released in the year 2001 which was filmed in Goa) style, after this we went to Anjuna beach and relaxed there, I bought many dresses from the local market of Anjuna beach. Coming back from Anjuna we saw a go-kart track, we went inside, I was little hesitant in riding the car but when I started I enjoyed a lot doing it.

Here we played casino and had buffet dinner on the deck of the cruise.

How to Reach Goa
You can opt rail, road, and air to reach Goa.
Though I opted by air for my trip, I have heard that its best to reach goa by train, it is really easy to each goa as major railways stations are located in Margao. The main railway station is known as Madgaon and Vasco-da-Gama. These railway stations are well linked with Mumbai and then other major parts of the country as well.
If you are opting for by air, then the nearest airport is located in Dabolim, it is about 30 km away from the state capital Panaji. Goa is well connected by air through direct flight to major cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
If you are a road traveler, Goa is the best destination for road traveling, you can reach there by your car or You can get many buses from cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad etc. Goa has its own bus service which connects it within and out of the state.
Goa Trip Package| A Budget Vacation in Goa:
Goa is a destination which can be budget friendly, it can cost around 25-30k around per person if you opt for 3-4 star property. It can be in less than this amount if you plan well.
Best Time to Go Goa:
I would suggest Christmas and new year time is the best time to visit Goa, as whole Goa would be decorated with lights and weather would be at its best. But if you hate crowd then you can go in November or January and it would be cost effective also.
